The IDOU story begins with our founder, Juliet, a 35-year-old woman who prioritized her career, loved ones, and time spent outdoors. Several years ago, Juliet and her husband, Denzel, were cycling while wearing reflective vests from Juliet's workplace. Unexpectedly, Denzel was injured, and they discovered that the reflective vest provided no reflective ability when the wearer was bent over.

Denzel's unfortunate incident prompted Juliet to research the quality of reflective gear on the market. To her dismay, she found that many brands were selling ineffective products that compromised their customers' safety. Many failed to provide an inclusive size range, and if they did, the sizing was misleading and not true to size. Others omitted essential features to save costs and expedite production.

Determined to prevent future accidents, Juliet specially designed a reflective vest for Denzel.
